Sophie is a 2024 Rising Artist with the Australian Contemporary Opera Company (ACOCO).

She holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts and a Masters of Opera from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music (VCA). Her artistic journey at VCA featured captivating performances in diverse productions, including notable portrayals such as Lauretta in Gianni Schicci (2020), Papagena in Die Zauberflöte (2020), Drusilla in L’Incoronazione di Poppea (2021), and Beth in Little Women (2021). Sophie's time at WAAPA showcased her versatility, with a standout role as Adele in Die Fledermaus.

Recently, Sophie showcased her artistry during NGV's Melbourne Design Week, collaborating with the esteemed fashion label Alpha60 and artist Brendan Huntley. In 2023, she distinguished herself as a member of the Opera Scholars Australia cohort, delivering impactful solo performances in "Opera in the Hangar" and earning finalist recognition in the 25th Anniversary Gala and Aria Finals Concert. Adding to her accomplishments, Sophie is set to join the Berlin Opera Academy in 2024, where she will take on the role of La Contessa Almaviva in Le Nozze di Figaro.
